A self-described "wannabe professional photographer", I love taking images of large wildlife.  Think wild horses, bears, elk, moose, wolves ... all the animals you don't find in western Europe.  When I had the chance to move to the American West back in 2003, I didn't hesitate!
Since then, I have traveled extensively in the United States, driving up to Alaska (twice) and all the way south to the Panama Canal visiting all countries in Central America including most U.S. states repeatedly.

After graduating as a Certified Professional Photographer (New York Institute of Photography), I gained experience as a wedding and portrait photographer back in Austin, TX while focusing on wildlife and nature images on my travels.
At the end of 2014, I relocated to Arizona, where I currently live in the town of Paradise Valley (in the greater Phoenix metro).

Here are some highlights of my photographic endeavours:

February 2017: DESTINATION: WILDLIFE published an article on the Prince of Wales island which features several of my images.  Click here to see the article.

August 2016: one of my Salt River mustangs images made it into the finals of the Nikonians wildlife contest.  Click here to see the image.

January 2016: another year, another "365 challenge".  This year, I will be posting one picture a day of Arizona's scenery and wildlife.

December 2015: successfully finished my "365 challenge" to post one picture a day of the Salt River mustangs.

August 2015: Arizona Highways Magazine released a book about the Salt River wild horses, that live in the Tonto National Forest east of Phoenix, AZ.  Very happy to learn that they chose to include 3 of my images in the book.  The book is for sale on their website and all proceeds go to the Salt River Wild Horse Management Group.

April 2015: all Gallery images are now available for commercial purchase through stock website Dreamstime.  It's exciting to see my images sell on a regular basis but it's especially interesting to see which images are selling!
