Coal Mine Canyon, on the Navajo reservation, is a lesser visited location in Arizona. Hardly a surprise when you look at what the competition in this area has to offer: there's the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon and everything else the Four Corners area has on display. In my opinion, Coal Mine Canyon earns its place amongst these natural wonders. And, chances are you'll be the only visitor! That can hardly be said about any of the other nearby attractions.
