As the sun had set behind the Tetons in Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park, I was on my way back from a hike looking for moose.
It was around the middle of October and the moose mating season was running on its last legs.
A mile out from my car, I spotted a cow moose, against a lovely mountain backdrop.
I couldn't believe my luck when this big bull moose appeared!
He's one of the biggest bull moose in the area, known as "Shoshone". He hasn't been seen in a while so fingers crossed he's alright.
This print of Shoshone and the Tetons is newly available in my Etsy shop: click here.
