The King

Meet the (former) King of Jackson Hole.

This bull moose, named Shoshone by photographers for easy identification, was the biggest bull around in Grand Teton National Park for several years.

It's been two years now since anyone has seen him, so it's feared that he's no longer alive.

That being said, this past fall, I saw a young bull moose with very similar antlers: possibly his son, ready to take on his father's role in a few years when he's fully grown!
