On one of my past visits to NW Colorado to photograph the Sand Wash Basin wild horses/mustangs, I made the following group image, which turned out to be one of my favorite images of the visit:

A few years later, I was contacted by Mary Duke, who recognized one of the wild horses ...!
Turns out one of these horses was, after my visit, captured by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) as part of a scheduled round up and put up for adoption.
Well, Mary Duke adopted the mustang, saw my image on social media and recognized her new horse.
Equine publication "The Chronicle of the Horse" has now written an article about Mary Duke and this horse, "Slide."
The fine art print of the image is available in my Etsy shop: click here.
