Grizzly Bears and Bison
A young grizzly bear mom tries to steer her two cubs of the year safely through a herd of bison in Yellowstone's Lamar valley.
Note the sheer difference in size.
Whereas an average grizzly bear sow in the Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) may be around 400 lbs, a cow bison is around 1,000 lbs and a bull bison around 2,000 lbs!
