As 2014 comes to an end, the time has come to think about resolutions for the new year.  I have decided to take on one of those "365-Challenges", where I post 1 picture each and every day of the year.  But what am I going to take 365 pictures of?  What could possibly be interesting enough to keep my interest in the project going for an entire year, and as important, what is interesting enough for my visitors to be entertained and not lose interest after 3 pictures on January 3rd ... ?

Having moved from Texas to Phoenix, Arizona in early December 2014, I am amazed at the natural beauty that the Phoenix area has to offer.  This nearly being a desert climate, I wasn't expecting to find any 'big' wildlife here.  To my surprise, on one of my first day trips, I entered the national forest on the east side of Phoenix and found wild horses!  Several bands of beautiful wild horses roam the vast area of the Tonto national forest.  Loving wildlife, it was an easy choice: I will attempt to visit the horses on a regular basis throughout 2015 and post 1 wild horse picture per day.
