Here's one of the many black bears that inhabit the area around Waterton-Glacier national parks, right on the border between Canada and the U.S.
This black bear cub was out and about with his mom and sibling in the pouring rain. He ventured off on his own, soon realized he was all alone, and stood up to look for his mom. Mother bears are very protective so she didn't go far; soon, she picked up this lost cub.
