The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem - which includes Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks - is home to many bears. Both black and brown (or grizzly) bears thrive in the area.
One morning, I met this black bear mom and her two coys (cubs born during the past winter) on a trail. I kept my distance and setup my camera with a motion control sensor. As soon as the mom and her cubs came close to the camera, it started recording.
Little did I know or expect that the cubs would have such an interest in the camera!
The mom kept walking and couldn't care less but for the cubs, any excuse to play with what they find is good!
