As I'm spending the winter months in Mexico along the Sea of Cortez, I'm finally finding some time to edit images from this past spring, summer and fall spent in Jackson Hole and Yellowstone.
This image has a clear message: when you're visiting Yellowstone in late August or September, don't assume all bears will be walking around.
Definitely keep an eye on the trees and bushes: it's not all birds and squirrels in there.
The fall berry season is a favorite amongst the local black bears!
