My "smiling moose" image is selected as a finalist in the annual Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards!
I made this image in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming during the moose's fall mating season. The bull pictured gave me a big grin ... by showing his 'shark teeth'.
No, moose don't have sharp shark teeth. In fact, they don't even have upper teeth, only lower teeth.
What you're seeing in the image is a combination of gums and lower teeth.
Now, one of the awards is is chosen by you!
