When it came time to write a article on how the celebrity grizzlies in Jackson Hole and the Tetons have been doing since they came out of hibernation this Spring of 2022, I was honored to interview Tom Mangelsen, legendary conservation wildlife photographer and former BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year, to get his thoughts.
With the tourist crowds descending once again into the Tetons for the summer months, and especially with more people unable to visit Yellowstone after the recent flooding and recently imposed 'license plate access requirements' (read about it here), I thought it was important to tell everyone how the Jackson Hole bears are doing, and, more importantly, how we can all help to keep them safe.
