I was very excited to receive word from one of the world's largest photography competitions: 35 AWARDS. (Web | Instagram | Facebook)
This competition awards the 'top 35' (hence their name, 35 AWARDS) and I made it as a top wildlife photographer and a top photographer in the USA. For the 3rd year in a row (!), some of my wildlife images won awards in the competition.
This year, 124,827 professional and amateur photographers from 174 countries participated in the annual photography competition and submitted a total of 470,000 photographs. The photographs were judged in three different stages and 158 million votes were received. Ultimately, in the 3rd stage of voting, 50 professional photographers from 50 different countries selected the winners from the photographs that received the most votes.
