Whenever the weather is bad, it's more fun to stay warm and dry at home.
That being said, it is also a great time to go out for wildlife photography.
Most often, the hard shadows and bright light of a blue sky day are not the greatest for dramatic wildlife images.
Here's some of my favorite images of eagles I found in the rain forest of Southeastern Alaska, sitting around waiting for salmon to swim by, on very rainy and gloomy days this past summer.
