Winter Bison
A big bull bison walks the snow-compacted park road near Yellowstone's Madison Junction.
Most of Yellowstone's roads are closed during the winter and only open to snowcoaches and snowmachines. This bull gave us a private viewing when we were on our snowcoach during last winter's photo trip I guided for Natural Habitat Adventures and WWF.
