Set in the forest near one of the large lakes, this den wasn't hard to spot in Grand Teton National Park. A huge pile of burrowed out sand marked the entrance.

As I was photographing the activity surrounding a beaver lodge in Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, I could hear baby sounds emerging from the lodge.

This young grizzly bear is estimated to be a little over 3 years old. Lots to learn at that young age!
Coming out of hibernation, the grizzlies in the Tetons are hungry. I observed this bear today in Grand Teton National Park and noticed something 'sticking' out of his face.
